This page explains how company lists on Top Dubai Designers are built, so a reader can check every step. The short version: a company appears on a Best list only after two independent public signals confirmed it was operating in August 2026, and ordering follows public evidence rather than payment.
The evidence base
The site maintains a directory of more than 20,000 UAE company profiles across interior design, construction and home supply, compiled from public Google Business profiles in August 2026 and from the site’s legacy 2015 directory. The full set is browsable in the Dubai interior design companies directory, the construction companies directory and the home and furniture suppliers directory.
Verification: two independent signals
A company counts as verified when at least two independent current signals agree on its identity:
- A live company website that identifies the firm, checked by a crawl of all reachable legacy company websites in August 2026. The crawl recorded the services each company documents, contact details and whether a project portfolio section exists.
- A matching public Google Business profile, matched by website domain, phone number and name, with rating and review counts recorded as of August 2026.
Companies that fail verification stay in the directory as legacy profiles with a pending re-verification label, and profiles whose domain registration lapsed with no other live signal are retired.
How ordering works
Each Best list opens with an editorial selection of up to three studios chosen by our editors, and that selection is disclosed in the first paragraph of every list. After the editorial positions, ordering follows three public factors in this order: Google review volume, Google rating, and the specializations the company documents on its own website. A niche list, for example villa interiors, only includes companies that document that niche themselves.

Some companies featured on this site, including firms in the editorial selection, may have a commercial relationship with it. Every featured firm, editorial or not, must pass the same verification and is presented with the same public data fields as every other entry. Sponsored placements are governed by the advertising and sponsorship policy and the partner disclosure.
Data sources and limits
Ratings and review counts are snapshots from August 2026 and change over time. Service claims come from company websites and are not independent audits of project quality. Market statistics quoted in the guides come from the official sources listed on the data methodology page and the sources and citations register.
