Dubai interior projects sit inside a fast-moving property, construction, office and hospitality market. This evidence hub brings the latest figures we could verify from Dubai government bodies and a clearly identified industry cost benchmark into one buyer-oriented reference. It does not rank firms and it does not treat market activity as proof of any individual company’s quality.
Dubai design-market snapshot
| Indicator | Latest period used | Verified figure | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Resident population | Q3 2025 | 4,471 thousand | Scale of the resident market; not the same as people present during peak hours. |
| People active during peak hours | Q3 2025 | 6,217 thousand | Shows the larger daytime service load reported by DDSE. |
| Completed buildings | Q1-Q3 2025 | 2,755 buildings | Measured completions, distinct from permits or projects. |
| Value of completed buildings | Q1-Q3 2025 | AED 9,673 million | Context for the value of delivered building stock. |
| Building-permit applications processed | H1 2025 | more than 30,000 applications | Pipeline activity; an application is not a completed building. |
| Registered tenancy contracts | 2025 | 1.38 million | Scale of leasing activity behind residential and commercial moves. |
| Real-estate transaction value | Q1 2026 | AED 252 billion | A current property-market demand signal. |
| International overnight visitors | 2025 | 19.59 million | Demand context for hotels and visitor-facing interiors. |
| Office fit-out benchmark | Market at Dec 2025 | EUR 1,081–2,794 per m² | Indicative all-in range, not a contractor quotation. |

Buildings, villas and permit activity
Quarterly population, completed-building counts and values, category shares, and the separate building-permit pipeline. Use it when testing whether a claim refers to approvals, construction pipeline or actual completions.
Property and leasing demand
Tenancy contracts, completed and active projects, sold units, real-estate offices, and the latest Q1 2026 transaction figures. Use it to understand the addressable property market, not to forecast a specific interior budget.
Office fit-out cost benchmarks
Published low, medium and high all-in office fit-out rates for Dubai, plus transparent area-based calculations and reinstatement benchmarks.
Hospitality and hotel demand
Visitor volume, room inventory, occupancy, occupied room nights, average daily rate and RevPAR, with 2024 comparisons where the source provides them.
Data and company-verification methodology
Source hierarchy, calculation rules, period limitations, the current directory audit, and the exact protocol for matching company cards to the official Dubai licence master.
What these numbers can and cannot tell a buyer
Official market figures can show the scale and direction of demand. They cannot demonstrate that a particular designer is licensed for the required activity, has delivered the projects shown in a portfolio, is available on a given programme, or will quote within a published market benchmark. Those questions require project-level evidence and current licence verification.
Periods are deliberately not blended into a synthetic “current market” total: Q1-Q3 2025 building completions, H1 2025 permits, full-year 2025 property and tourism figures, Q1 2026 property transactions, and the December 2025 office-cost market snapshot remain separate.
